If what this boy says is true, then his plight is far more noble than that of those nemians, and also of the wealthy aristocrat. This is obvious. The only difference is that the aristocrat actually has the money and foresight to issue a quest to the guild.
But that's the thing! Lots of people need help, whether they ask the Adventurers' Guild or not! Even the ones that do write letters don't always get replies... there is a whole world out there of desperate people who need help.
What should we do, Klaus? Even if he were leading us into a trap, it's not like we have anything else on us for him to steal, besides what he's asking for. We might as well just check it out.
