But why bother bringing MY dimension into this? Why did you tell my world's Whitemark to build the portal to here in the first place?

I found out that there were other worlds out there. Worlds that were not yet conquered by me... I couldn't have that, now could I?

But red onyx, something required to build an other-dimensional portal, is near non-existent in this dimension.

So I contacted your onyx-rich world, and ordered this fairly knowledgable wizard right here to build a portal--and, being curious about the nature of my own magic power, he obeyed.

And then, I KNEW half-heroic, half-scared people would come in to retrieve him, and bring red onyx with them as security. Now the question is... do you have some red onyx for me, hero?

Gone inter-dimensional fishing.
