Season 2 Complete! Status condition

And so, Adventurers’ Guild Season 2 draws to a close. But to be perfectly honest, Season 3 picks directly up from here and goes seamlessly into much the same stuff, so no worries there! There are many, many loose plot threads that need to be closed. Some might even question why bother making a new season, or like, why even split this thing up into seasons in the first place? Well, like the old adage goes: “How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time.” Gotta divide it up so I don’t go mad.

I am, however, pretty much completely out of my stockpile backup at this time. At least several months of hiatus is going to be required here for me to prepare many new sprites and environments and get ahead with some pages ready to go. (This of course is another reason to divide the series into seasons.)

I always worry about the damage that the comic’s following might take during such a long break, but it has felt that momentum has been kinda low lately anyway. I could be wrong, maybe the webcomic format is a bit antiquated nowadays, maybe people don’t want to read somber episode after somber episode, as things have trended to… but this hiatus will also give me a chance to plan a new and better marketing strategy and approach to social media. I am horrible at both thing, preferring to put my nose to the grindstone on the art production front, so if any of you have ideas, I’ll be sure to listen!

Hopefully you, whoever is reading this, will stick with this comic and patiently await Season 3. It’s a long ways off, but I will post a few teasers on Xwitter, Discord, and/or Pateron in the next few months, so be sure to follow on one or all of those.
And I’ll still be here! All comments get read, so feel free to reach out at any time. I’ve been on the internet this long, so I’m not leaving. I’ve started doing a few gaming live streams on Twitch, I can get you that link if you’re interested.
