Episode 24 is done and uploaded now, and I hope you enjoyed. We now begin the post-episode upload break—this one should only be a few weeks.
Just so you know also, the next episode is part 1 of the Season 2 Finale! It’s too early now to start getting nostalgic and look to the past about this season, but I sure think we’ve come a long way. Anyway, the next episode will be called “The Spirit of the Animal, part 1”. Make of that what you will… Look forward to it!
As for me, I’ve been facing many obstacles in this comic project lately, mostly to do with motivation. It’s a slog, as it were, but that’s to be expected of multi-year projects. There are certainly times when I’d rather not do it. Then there are times when I rather would do it, but my attention is required elsewhere. Or when I finally do get the chance to work on it, I’m exhausted already by the rest of the day’s obligations.
It doesn’t help when I go for long stretches with little to know feedback, and when I can muster up some self-promo, it seems to fall flat much like many social media shouting-into-the-void sort of posting. I much prefer just strapping down and grinding out the comic pages, but that doesn’t do much good if no one ever sees them.
But, I can’t force anyone to care. As I have mentioned before, the internet has changed a lot since the days when self-owned webcomic sites were the standard, and it’s hard not to try to live in the past (indeed, I kinda bank on those that do try to live in the past to people my audience. XD )
I try not to rant too much, but I suppose that better than you all not hearing from me at all for weeks on end.
